Can you really tell if I am telling a lie
only by the way I sound?

The Human voice is carrying messages on four general levels:
1. The Context level - which is textually what you say,
2. The intonation level - Which is the way you say it.
(For example when you try to sound sad or happy)
3. The accent level - Which is the way YOU personally sound, and
4. The hidden message, or the cognitive level.
We are dealing only with the 4'th level. (That is why it is of no importance in what language you speak, or how you are trying to sound).
The cognitive level is a discontinuous level, and you cannot 'hear'
it with your own ears. The Truster detects in this level the 'hidden messages' that the subject's brain is sending, analyzes and simply displays them in plain language.

Exactly. Your PC is fully equipped for this task.
Your sound card (any 16 bit sound card) records segments of the
subject's voice, digitizes them and stores them on your PC memory.
Then the CPU uses the Truster's powerful algorithm to analyze the voice sample, and the appropriate message is displayed on the screen. Your printer can be used to generate reports, and your hard disk can store them.

But I have never tested people before. I have never learned psychology, or how to use any other device like this. Can I use the Truster?
